The normal breakfast room was standard, a bit noisy.

Breakfast variety can be improved, Hotel works with tour buses can get very bussy at the buffet,, large noisy Breakfast room.

No one spoke English, we were not informed of pool closure and busineaa lounge clousure during half of our stay

Location, cleanliness, friendliness

Keycards are swipe-types which are outdated and always malfunction. The cards cut for one of our rooms were not working after check-in, so we had to walk all the way back to front desk to re-cut after testing at the room, which is far.

Scenic & convenient location.

Gate to riverside was locked. Would have been very nice & direct route for morning walks.

Plenty of facilities and fun things to do inside the hotel. It has a mini zoo , indoor and outdoor pool.

I think the location was not the best. Would be great if the hotel provided shuttle bus or some transportation to the city center and the night market.

Location wise is about 12 mins from the 3 major attractions. It has an indoor pool and we did a train ride. They told us kids club needs to pay? Not sure if it is included. Dinner at Shang was very pleasant; opened for us late as we arrived 15mins before closing time.

It was really huge so walking from one tower to the other tower took some time.

Needed to wait for a while for the kids facilities to operate.

Everything about the hotel was amazing except for the AC, we stayed for 3 nights, and every day, they used to turn the AC off in the evening as the outside weather was cold. Mr.Alex the concierge, was very very good. Mr.Kyra at the reception gave us early checkin as well.

We specifically had asked for a room with a nice view as I had booked a room with a terrace and mountain view, the person at the reception counter Mr.Kyra gave us the room with no mountain view which was disappointing but the morning staff was very good to take proper action and changed the room immediately. Mr.Alex the concierge, helped us as he was the only one who spoke proper english, hotel should promote him.

Hotel, restaurant and facilities are great. Staff is generally warm and accommodating. Limited English.

Transportation desk neglected to inform us of various travel options.

Great view, big room, fantastic services, especially at the horizon club lounge. Anna Mao in the lounge was very attentive and thoughtful, the glasses are always filled, questions are always answered.Happy hour at the club lounge is not the normal “hors d'oeuvre”, you can basically have dinner there. View from the room is great too! I stayed in 2 shangri-la hotels in this trip but Guilin Shangri-la is next level compared to the other one. We truely enjoy the stay and hoping to come back again.

Nothing, everything is great

Room where spacious, comfortable and the view on the river Li was stunning. The bar was very cosy with warm colors and with a great with on the garden. A beautiful botanic garden with direct access on the river

Breakfast could be better. We got an enormous group the last day rushing at breakfast. We do not expect that in a five star hotel.Too many staff do not speak english

The facility and amenities were great. The staff was very welcoming and friendly and were very helpful in translating information to us. The food was exceptional, especially the breakfast buffet. We also enjoyed UBar night food and drink menus. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Guilin.

Good, quiet room. The hotel is huge. It has a wonderful private park. Visiting an authentic Chinese supermarket across the street was an interesting experience.

The breakfast was amazing and there were also great choices for dinner. The rooms were very spacious.

Huge complex with friendly English speaking staff, amazing spa, rooms that are large and spacious with great views of the Li river. Delicious restaurants and bars throughout the complex. Great location and close to Reed Flute cave!

Rooms are slightly dated but still very grand.
